Granted, the connection is not immediately obvious. But this post on the indispensable Eduwonk employs a nifty marinara metaphor to frame the case for charter schools in a way that is at once simple and sophisticated. (It’s a bit more elegant than the drinking-fountain-vs.-bottled-water metaphor against charter schools.)
