INTRO TEXT When Mitt Romney announced in December 2005 that he would not seek a second term as Massachusetts governor, his reason was simple: “We got a lot more done than I expected we would…I’ve got the job done I set out to do.” As he takes the first steps toward running for president, CommonWealth decided to look at some of his publicly stated goals as governor and, in each case, whether he achieved all, some or none of what he “set out to do.”
