Kathryn Carlson
Kathryn Carlson is Director of Transportation at A Better City, overseeing transportation research and policy agendas as well as oversees two Transportation Management Associations (TMAs). She is also on the board of the LivableStreets Alliance.
Prior to joining A Better City, Kathryn founded Buca Boot LLC, a bicycle product company and invented their flagship product, the Buca Boot, a patented bike-mounted storage system that won Inc. Magazine’s “Best In Class” Design Award in 2015. She has been a research analyst and economist at Fidelity Investments in Boston covering energy and commodity markets, and a senior-level appointee at the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions for Governor Jim Doyle.
She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Wellesley College, and a Masters of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics.
